After winning 7DAYS EuroCup in two out of three campaigns in the second-tier club continental competition of Euroleague Basketball, Damien Inglis moves up to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

Inglis, 28, signed a two-year contract to join Valencia, the team announced Friday. Eurohoops confirmed a deal between the Oranges and the French forward one day earlier, Thursday.

Per the press release: Valencia Basket has reached an agreement to incorporate the French power forward (2.06, Cayenne, French Guiana, 20/05/95, 28 years old) to its men’s team for the next two seasons. The player arrives from Dreamland Gran Canaria, where he averaged 8.6 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2 assists for 11.6 efficiency credits in Liga Endesa.”

EuroCup triumphs highlighted the single-season spells as AS Monaco in 2020-21 and Dreamland Gran Canaria in 2022-23. Combined with his stint at Limoges CSP in 2018-19, he is a veteran of 53 games played. From EuroCup to EuroLeague, he followed Brandon Davies, Semi Ojeleye, and Boubacar Toure in the list of summer signings for the team coached by Alex Mumbru.

Back in 2014, Inglis was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the 31st pick of the NBA draft. After registering 20 games played in the 2015-16 NBA Regular Season and spending most of the three seasons following the draft in the G League with the Canton Charge and Westchester Knicks, he returned to Europe in 2017.

Following the NBA, SikeliArchivi Capo d’Orlando, SIG Strasbourg, and Surne Bilbao are other former teams. Chorale Roanne was the last stop before being drafted by the Bucks.
