Marko Simonović returns to the ABA League after signing a two-year contract with Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet.
Montenegrin center and former Chicago Bulls player Marko Simonović is the new KK Crvena zvezda Meridianbet player!l.
23 years old Simonović, signed a two-year contract with the Red and Whites. He is 213 centimeters tall and weighs 110 kilograms, and can equally successfully play in the wing center and center positions.
He started his professional career in the Italian club Mens Sana, and later was a member of Petrol Olimpija Ljubljana and Mega MIS, before signing a contract with the Chicago Bulls after he was the 44th pick in the 2021 draft.
During his time with the Chicago Bulls, Simonović spent time in the G-League playing for the Windy City Bulls. In Crvena zvezda, Meridianbet he will wear the jersey with the number 11, which was once worn by club legend, Ljubodrag Duci Simonović.
Marko Simonović is the second addition to the team for the new competition season after the return of Dejan Davidovac (3-year contract), while Luka Mitrović extended his contract with the club for another three seasons.
