Jaron Blossomgame has officially extended his contract with AS Monaco until the end of the 2023-24 season, as announced by the red-and-white side. Debuting in the EuroLeague, the 29-year-old explosive forward averaged 5.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game, being a factor in the team’s path to 2023 Final Four in Kaunas, speaking after the end of it exclusively to Eurohoops.
“I chose to stay at Monaco because I wanted to continue building on what we did last season. Having a year of experience under the same coach and with the same players was one of the main reasons. I would say the season was a success. Although we had a few tough times, we stuck together and fought through adversity”, Jaron Blossomgame said on AS Monaco’s official website.
“We had high expectations throughout this year and we achieved our main goal. For next season, I would like to build on the success we have had over the past year. We’ve built something special with a group of great guys. So it’s only right to aim for the stars”, he added.
Back in 2022, after a standout EuroCup season alongside Semaj Christon with ratiopharm Ulm, the Clemson Tigers product signed a one-year deal with the option for another season with the Monegasque team. Today, the latter has been officialized.
Before winning the 2023 LNB with AS Monaco, Jaron Blossomgame spent the vast majority of his career in the US, playing in the G-League with the Austin Spurs, the Canton Charge, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, and the Windy City Bulls, while also rocking the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ jersey in the 2018-19 season. He made the overseas jump in 2020, joining the Israeli side of Ironi Nahariya.
