According to Mozzart Sport, Fenerbahce is interested in signing an Israeli point guard from Partizan, Yam Madar.
Reportedly, the Istanbul club is ready to offer him better terms, but the ABA champions don’t intend to let the talented player leave.
However, per Zurnal , the player is already a free agent using an opt out clause.
Madar signed a three-year contract for Partizan in 2021, and got EuroLeague’s Rising Star award in the previous season, averaging 5,8 points, 1,6 assists, and 1,2 rebounds in 38 appearances.
The 22-year-old player started his professional career with Hapoel Tel Aviv in 2018, and move to Partizan three years after. Meanwhile, he was chosen as a 47th overall pick at the NBA draft by Boston Celtics in 2020.
