Awaiting the confirmation of Ioannis Papapetrou’s return, Panathinaikos announced that Lefteris Bochoridis has left the team.
The 29-year-old guard started his second stint with Athens club in 2020 and added to his tally one Greek championship, Cup, and Super Cup. During his first tenure from 2014 to 2017, Bochorids also won one Greek title and three Cups.
“Lefteris, thank you for your valuable contribution to our team and we wish you the best in your life and career,” Panathinaikos wrote on social media.
Bochoridis played 17 games in the EuroLeague last season, averaging just two points, 1,6 rebounds and 1,5 assists in around 12 minutes on the floor. He had a bigger role in a domestic championship, scoring 4,5 points with 2,8 rebounds and 1,7 assists.
