Real Madrid and Sergio Rodriguez have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which remains linked to the club until June 30, 2024.
In his seven seasons with Real Madrid’s jersey, he has won 14 titles: 2 European Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 3 Leagues, 4 Copas del Rey, and 4 Spanish Super Cups. In addition, he was MVP of the Euroleague and a member of the ideal five in the 2013-2014 season, MVP of the Spanish Super Cup in 2013, and has been a member of the ideal five of the League on 3 occasions (2012-2013, 2013-2014 and 2015-2016).
He has been international with the Spanish team on 154 occasions and has won seven medals: 2 Gold (2006 World Cup and 2015 European), 2 Silver (2012 Olympic Games and 2007 European), and 3 Bronze (European of 2013 and 2017 and Olympic Games of 2016). On an individual level, Sergio Rodríguez was chosen as a member of the ideal quintet of the 2015 European Championship.
Sergio Rodríguez has been a key member of one of the most successful cycles of Real Madrid’s history.
This announcement comes a day after Real Madrid extended the contract with Rudy Fernandez.
