Crvena Zvezda signed center Joel Bolomboy for the 2023-24 season, the club announced. He becomes the second player to be announced by the Serbian powerhouse Friday (14/7) after big man Mike Tobey.

Bolomboy spent 2022-23 with Olympiacos Piraeus in Greece, winning all three (SuperCup, Cup and Championship) domestic titles. In EuroLeague, he posted 3.8 points and 3.0 rebounds in 11:18 minutes as the Reds made the championship game.

Before joining Olympiacos, Bolomboy spent four years with CSKA Moscow. He was crowned EuroLeague champion with the Russian side in 2019.

Apart from Bolomboy and Tobey, Zvezda has added guard Milos Teodosic, wing Adam Hanga and big man Marko Simonovic this summer while bringing back forward Dejan Davidovac. The club is also close to a deal with guard Shabazz Napier.
