As reported earlier by Eurohoops, Shabazz Napier is now officially a Crvena Zvezda player, having signed a two-year contract with the red-and-white Serbian powerhouse. He’s the latest arrival following Dejan Davidovac, Milos Teodosic, Adam Hanga, Marko Simonovic, Rokas Giedraitis, Joel Bolomboy, and Mike Tobey.

The 32-year-old, who tried the EuroLeague experience with Zenit Saint Petersburg but never stepped on the court while experiencing it fully in Milan, is coming off an exciting European campaign, averaging 15.0 points and 3.9 assists per game to help the Italian side come back in the fight for the Playoffs.

After playing six years in the NBA with the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, Portland Trail Blazers, Brooklyn Nets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Washington Wizards, this will now be the second European experience for the UConn Huskies product.
