After parting ways with Darrun Hilliard, Maccabi Tel Aviv officially announced another departure: the 29-year-old power forward Jarell Martin won’t play with the Israeli powerhouse next year.
In his first-ever season with Maccabi Tel Aviv in the EuroLeague, Jarell Martin put up 7.2 points and 3.5 rebounds per game with the yellow-and-blue team, trying to help them in chasing the 2023 Final Four in the EuroLeague Playoffs best-of-five series against AS Monaco.
Before moving to Israel in the summer of 2022, where he won both the Winner League and the Israeli Cup, the LSU Tigers product spent three years with the Memphis Grizzlies, moving also to Orlando later on. His latest experience before the EuroLeague was in the NBL with the Sidney Kings.

Dimitris Agravanis leaves Panathinaikos
Just like Jarell Martin, another power forward is leaving his EuroLeague team: as officially announced by the green-and-white powerhouse, in fact, Dimitris Agravanis and Panathinaikos parted ways.
The former Olympiacos player, who also played with Peristeri and Napoli in the 2022-23 season, averaged 0.8 points and 2.5 rebounds in just 8:40 minutes of playing time over only four appearances.
He’s the latest of several departures in the newest Ergin Ataman’s era at OAKA, after Paris Lee, Nate Wolters, Derrick Williams, Arturas Gudaitis, Mateusz Ponitka, Lefteris Bochoridis, and Matt Thomas.
