After adding nine new players and securing Luka Mitrovic for three years and Nikola Topic for four more years, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet makes another move by signing a three-year contract extension with Stefan Lazarevic.
Lazarevic, who started his career with Crvena Zvezda, captained the Junior team that won the EuroLeague title in 2014. Following loans to FMP, he solidified his place in the team during the 2021-22 season.
In the previous year, the 26-year-old forward played 30 games in the EuroLeague, averaging 2.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, making a substantial contribution on the defensive end.
Crvena Zvezda has also signed Dejan Davidovac, Milos Teodosic, Adam Hanga, Marko Simonovic, Mike Tobey, Joel Bolomboy, Rokas Giedraitis, Shabazz Napier, and Yago dos Santos.
