After parting ways with Panathinaikos, the 28-year-old playmaker signed a two-year contract with ASVEL, according to Eurohoops sources. Donatas Urbonas from Basket News first reported about the negotiations between Paris Lee and ASVEL.
In his second-ever EuroLeague season, the first one with the green-and-white powerhouse, the half-American and half-Cameroonian point guard put up 11.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game, shooting 43.2% from two, 33.3% from three, and 81.1% at the free throw line.
Before moving to Panathinaikos, Paris Lee was named into the 2018-19 Basketball Champions League Second Best Team with Antwerp, moving later on to Brose Bamberg and Orléans, where he played alongside the newest Baskonia’s addition Chima Moneke. He will become ASVEL’s fourth arrival of the summer following Boris Diallo, John Egbunu, and Frank Jackson.
