ASVEL Villeurbanne announced the signing of Paris Lee for the 2023-24 season. The American guard returns to France where he previously played for AS Monaco, following a 2022-23 stint with Panathinaikos Athens.

“Paris will bring us a lot of things on the pitch: his high-level experience, his great defensive qualities in one-on-one, his sense of creation on offense,” ASVEL coach TJ Parker said. “He is a player who also knows the French championship very well, who knows how to be decisive as well as to put himself at the service of his teammates.”

Lee averaged 11.2 points, 3.8 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 1.4 steals with Panathinaikos last season in EuroLeague. He posted 11.1 points, 4.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 steals over 32 games in the Greek League.

Before Panathinaikos, Lee made his EuroLeague debut with Monaco in 2021-22, helping the team get one win away from making the Final Four in its first appearance in the competition. He was previously an All-Basketball Champions League Team member in 2019 as a player of Antwerp Giants.
