Crvena Zvezda continues forming a roster for the upcoming season, with Ognjen Kuzmic putting pen on the new contract to stay for two more seasons in Belgrade, as officially confirmed.

He’s the third player from last season’s roster to sign a new deal after Luka Mitrovic and Stefan Lazarevic.

Kuzmic joined Crvena Zvezda for the first time in 2016 as an NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors. After a season, he moved to Real Madrid, stayed for two years, and returned to Belgrade in 2019.

He won 11 trophies with Crvena Zvezda, including three ABA league titles, four Serbian League championships, and four Serbian Cups.

Kuzmic will have a chance to record 300 appearances in the red and white jersey next season, as he has already played 297 games and scored 1,727 points as a Crvena Zvezda player.

The Serbian champions made many changes this summer, adding Dejan Davidovac, Milos Teodosic, Adam Hanga, Marko Simonovic, Mike Tobey, Joel Bolomboy, Rokas Giedraitis, Shabazz Napier, and Yago dos Santos to their ranks.
