The Nikola Mirotic saga could be finally over soon. After winning the ACB with Barcelona as the hero and eventually parting ways with the Catalan team, the former Chicago Bulls experienced player is currently in talks with Olimpia Milan, according to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Having had conversations with Partizan and Crvena Zvezda but publicly said he didn’t want to play next year in Belgrade, and as things fell down with Olympiacos, Panathinaikos, and AS Monaco, the 32-year-old EuroLeague superstar is discussing a 2+1 deal with Ettore Messina’s team for 2.5 million euros per year.

However, still according to Corriere della Sera, Real Madrid and some options from the NBA are still tempting Nikola Mirotic, who hasn’t found a full agreement with the Italian powerhouse yet.

In the 2022-23 EuroLeague season, Nikola Mirotic averaged 15.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game, shooting 60.3% from two, 39.2% from deep, and 80.4% at the free throw line, but couldn’t bring a trophy to FC Barcelona, missing out at the 2023 Final Four in Kaunas.

The 32-year-old power forward spent four seasons with the Catalunyan powerhouse. Moving from his first professional team Real Madrid to the NBA, he had 359 appearances with the Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks, and New Orleans Pelicans from 2014 to 2019.
