The former ninth pick in the NBA draft and player of Charlotte, Phoenix, Atlanta and Houston Frank Kaminsky, signed a one-year contract with Partizan.
Before the NBA, Kaminsky graduated from the University of Wisconsin, which retired the number 44 jersey in his honor. Frank will wear the same number in Partizan.
After signing the contract with the black and whites, Partizan’s new basketball player said:
“I am excited about the opportunity that has come my way. I know that I am coming to a club with a rich history and a mission to win trophies. I am very happy for the opportunity to play big matches. The support of the fans that this club has is crazy and I can’t wait to play in front of them“, said Kaminsky, who also has Serbian roots on his mother’s side.
“My family is still close to the Serbian community in Illinois and the Serbian National Federation in the United States, which organizes a big basketball tournament every year. I used to be involved in that too,” Kaminsky emphasized, referring to playing in Atlanta with Bogdan Bogdanovic .
“It was great to play with him. He is a fantastic basketball player and an even better friend. I called him first when the possibility arose to move to Partizan. He said a lot of nice things about the club and the city, which helped me make the decision to sign of the contract,” emphasized Kaminski and sent a message to the black and white fans.
“I want the fans to know that I come to compete and win. Everyone tells me that Partizan has the best fans in the world and that they are crazy about basketball. I can’t wait to play in front of them,” concluded Kaminsky.
