It seems that time in the Fenerbahce jersey for Nemanja Bjelica and Nick Calathes has come to an end. The GM of the Istanbul powerhouse, Derya Yannier said that they informed the players of their decision.
“We have conveyed to both Nemanja Bjelica and Nick Calathes and their managers that we are not thinking of them in our planning this year“, Derya Yannier said to FB TV.
Both Nemanja Bjelica from Serbia and Nick Calathes from Greece have a contract signed with Fenerbahce for the next season.
“Since they are our contract players, they both started training with us. We will look at the situation in the coming period.”
Bjelica played only seven games in the Euroleague last season because of a calf injury. He only averaged 2,7 points. Calathes on the other hand played all 39 games and had an average of 8,2 points and 5,1 assists.
