After the Super Cup of the ABA League in Podgorica, Partizan Mozzart Bet left for Athens and the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament without injured Mateusz Ponitka.
The Polish foward was injured in the match against Fuenlabrada at the Tasmajdan stadium when he received an awkward blow to the shoulder. Since then, Ponitka has been undergoing therapy, and the injury is such that it requires rest.
It was for this reason that he was not in Podgorica at the Super Cup of the ABA League, and on Friday he didn’t travel to Athens.
As for the “Pavlos Giannakopoulos” tournament in addition to the host Panathinaikos, and Partizan, Efes and Bayern are also participating.
