The ongoing situation in Israel following yesterday’s morning attacks by Hamas is obviously conditioning the schedule of basketball games both inside and outside of the country.

After winning in Round 1 against Partizan Belgrade, Maccabi Tel Aviv is scheduled to travel to Italy in order to face Olimpia Milano on October 12 at 20:30 CET. However, things may change rapidly.

According to Walla Sport, in fact, the yellow-and-blue Israeli team has requested the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague to postpone the encounter against Ettore Messina’s team. Following consultations with the Israeli Ministry of Sports, in which came the possibility of traveling earlier to Italy, this was Maccabi’s ultimate decision as a ban to leave Israel eventually followed.
