BOLOGNA, Italy – Everybody knew it would have been an emotional night in PalaDozza, as Crvena Zvezda was scheduled to visit Virtus Bologna in the EuroLeague Regular Season Round 4: after four long years with the black-and-white Italian powerhouse, Milos Teodosic is back in town as an opponent.
Right after entering the court from the locker room for the pre-game shootaround, the whole Virtus Bologna’s fanbase in the stands of a soldout PalaDozza started shouting his name.
Later on, receiving a beautiful picture captured by Matteo Marchi after winning the EuroCup back in 2022, he was greeted by Virtus Bologna’s owner Massimo Zanetti while receiving a standing ovation.
Since joining the Italian team back in 2019 with Sasha Djordjevic on Virtus Bologna’s bench, Milos Teodosic has added to his palmarès one Italian championship, two Italian Supercups, and the 2022 EuroCup, bringing the black-and-white side back to the EuroLeague after 20 years.
