Maodo Lo to debut in the EuroLeague with Milan against ALBA Berlin

Playing for the first time outside of Germany in the LBA opener against Treviso, Maodo Lo will be finally available to come back on the court for EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, recovering from his left thigh muscle injury which sidelined him for three weeks.

As announced by Ettore Messina after the 79-75 win in the domestic league against Derthona, both the German playmaker and Nikola Mirotic, who suffered an injury during the loss against Real Madrid. “During the week we will have Maodo Lo and [Nikola] Mirotic. Then we hope to find at the end of November [Billy] Baron as well”, the Italian head coach commented.

The 2023 FIBA World Cup winner will Germany will mark his EuroLeague debut on October 26 at 20:00 CET, facing his former team ALBA Berlin at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. The Italian team has started the season 2-1, losing against Fenerbahce and Real Madrid, while Israel Gonzalez’s side stands at the bottom winless, next to ASVEL with a record of 0-4.
