Starting the season hot – averaging 16.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in his first two EuroLeague encounters against Milan and Valencia -, Tyler Dorsey was stopped by a hand injury he suffered on the road against the Spanish team on October 13.
Fenerbahce officially announced he had a fracture in his right metatarsal bone, being expected to miss at least two months of action. However, the 27-year-old American-Greek shooting guard may come back to the court earlier than expected.
According to the information shared initially by SDNA and then confirmed by Eurohoops sources, further examinations of Tyler Dorsey revealed that the stable fracture did not involve the entire bone, and the treatment process was therefore accelerated.
After missing last week’s double-game action against ASVEL and Panathinaikos, the former Olympiacos and Dallas Mavericks player could complete his recovery time in the near future.
