Baskonia lost three straight matches, and will be looking to bounce back in Athens againts Panathinaikos. However, how difficult that task may be, it will be even tougher with the injuries of Nikos Rogkavopoulos and Dani Diez.
Both players won’t be traveling to Greece for a EuroLeague Round 5 match with muscle injuries.
“The tests carried out on Nikos Rogkavopoulos, after not being able to complete yesterday’s training, have confirmed an injury to the inner calf of his right leg. In the case of Dani Díez, who suffered a blow during the last game, the tests have determined an injury to the soleus of his right leg,” as stated by Baskonia.
Both players are already working on their recovery with the club’s medical services and their evolution will determine the recovery period.
Rogkavopoulos averaged 2,8 points in EuroLeague and 4,8 in ACB League so far, while Diez played only against Zalgiris in the elite competition, scoring two points.
