During Fenerbahce‘s 79-77 win over Olympiacos which permitted Dimitris Itoudis’ team to be up in the EuroLeague standings with a 5-1 record, the Turkish team suffered the loss of one of its most important all-around players Dyshawn Pierre.
Providing once again a complete performance of 14 points being perfect from the field on five total attempts, the former Dinamo Sassari player had to leave the court after only eight minutes of playing time, suffering a calf injury as announced by Fenerbahce itself with a press release.
“Our player Dyshawn Pierre suffered an injury in the game against Olympiacos played on Thursday, November 2. As a result of detailed examinations of our athlete at the Acıbadem Ataşehir Hospital, a two-grade muscle injury was detected in the right leg calf area. We wish our player to get well soon as his treatment has started”, the official statement said without mentioning any timetables for his return.
