Possibly closing the 2024-25 edition of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague in Barcelona is in the stage of negotiations.
Chief Executive Officer of Euroleague Basketball Paulius Motiejunas confirmed Barcelona as a candidate to host the 2025 Final Four on Tuesday.
“Negotiations are pending. There is nothing done yet,” he mentioned during a press conference on establishing a three-year deal with Enerjisa Commodities, “There will be an announcement about the final decision.”
“For now, there is nothing more,” added Motiejunas.
The next champion of Europe’s premier club continental competition will be crowned in Berlin. Moving to the plan to conclude the 2024-25 season, a return to Catalonia has been rumored over recent months. Barcelona previously hosted the Final Four in 1998, 2003, and 2011.
