The Lithuanian guard is the one you should count on for this week’s EuroLeague action

Last week, we recommended you rely on Jerian Grant for the EuroLeague Fantasy, and despite expecting more assisting-wise, it was the right choice since both Kostas Sloukas and Luca Vildoza were missing.

With Juancho Hernangomez out for two months and Ioannis Papapetrou missing as well, there’s a gap to be filled in Panathinaikos‘ small forward position. The clear choice-proposal is then Marius Grigonis, who is very cheap (7.8 points) and he’s averaging a 9.3 of PIR so far in the EuroLeague with 10.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per game with the Greek powerhouse.

Eventually, you could click on Panagiotis Kalaitzakis, who costs only 4.2 points and could patch any hole in your team while having the opportunity to go for a big name like Mathias Lessort, Tornike Shengelia, Nikola Milutinov, Nikola Mirotic, or Mike James.

Ettore Messina on our bench

Ettore Messina’s Milan isn’t in the best of its moments, being last in the EuroLeague standings right next to ALBA Berlin and ASVEL with a 1-5 record and four straight defeats.

Hosting one of the surprises in the whole continent like Valencia, which is on the other end second in the standings with a 5-1 record, the Italian team could bounce back in front of its home fans.

Therefore, we decided to choose Ettore Messina for our EuroLeague Fantasy team due to his price (7.1 points) being a little bit sharper than Georgios Bartzokas (8.1 points), leaving us the opportunity of fitting Facundo Campazzo – Real Madrid hosts Virtus Bologna at home – on our roster.
