Let’s start with last week, where we were fully justified in choosing Giannis Sfairopoulos as our coach. You didn’t mind the 20 points from a coach that costs only 6 units, right?
In general, we wrote that with a little attention, selecting cheap coaches can give you many points at the lowest cost in your budget. For today, we have one in mind who is none other than Ettore Messina of Olimpia Milano, facing ASVEL in Italy.
Okay, we’ll agree right away that Olimpia is the not so reliable team, however, Messina at 7.2 units and against his compatriot, Gianmarco Pozzecco, we believe will deliver.
Now, let’s talk about Nikola Milutinov.
One thing we’ve mentioned is that since Olympiacos’ two main centers, “Milo” and Moustapha Fall, are healthy, this affects their Fantasy value.
The Frenchman plays a bit more, but both don’t produce their incredible numbers like they were when they were alone, meaning when one of the two was absent (Milutinov) or the other was not ready (Fall at the start).
We will bet with some risk on Milutinov (or on Fall for a more economical solution) because we believe in an outburst from him.
Apart from not having seen many great games from the Serbian center in the last four rounds, we believe that Virtus’ front line is not so strong.
Although the Italian team excels in the EuroLeague – in 2nd place so far – its front line is less powerful than the other positions. Of course, we exclude Toko Shengelia, who is having an incredible season. Cacok is moderately… average, the old lion Bryant Dunston struggles as he has learned to do, but we are not talking about a center who can match up in numbers with Milutinov.
With the optimism that we will succeed in our predictions, take a look at our team for this EuroLeague round.
