Not the best of nights in the EuroLeague Round 15 for Valencia. First of all, the Spanish side lost at home against Partizan Belgrade, and secondly, they lost Victor Claver, who suffered a hamstring tear in the clash with the black-and-white Serbian side.
Alex Mumbru’s team commented on the 34-year-old player’s injury. “Valencia Basket forward Victor Claver injured his right leg in last Tuesday’s game against Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade”, the press release first said about the veteran, who has been averaging 3.4 points and 2.6 rebounds.
The statement continued with his time of absence. “The imaging tests that the player has undergone show that he has suffered a muscle tear in his right hamstring. It is estimated that a recovery period of 3-4 weeks is necessary, pending the player’s progress”, it added.
