Virtus Bologna came home from Belgrade with satisfaction after getting the huge victory against Partizan, but during that night something serious also happened regarding the black-and-white team, that currently stands 2nd in the EuroLeague.
Devontae Cacok, in fact, as officially announced by the club, “suffered a trauma to his right knee and will be re-evaluated in the next few days following further diagnostic investigations”. According to several reports, the season may be ended for him, as the stop will take 6-8 months.
With Jordan Mickey also out for injury, Luca Banchi’s team will need to come back to the market for a replacement, considering that Bryant Dunston can’t spend tons of minutes on the court at 37 years of age. Leaving CSKA Moscow in the summer, Devontae Cacok was averaging 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in his first-ever EuroLeague season, coming off the bench for the Italian team.
