Olimpia Milano has announced the end of the partnership with Kevin Pangos, and the Canadian guard officially joined Valencia to return to the Spanish ACB League after three and a half years.
He signed a deal until the end of the season, with the option to stay in Pabellon Fuente De San Luis for another full season.
Pangos joined defending Italian champions in the summer of 2022, following a brief stint in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, his first season with Milano was marred by injuries.
In his second season with the Italian powerhouse, Pangos quickly fell out of favor with head coach and president of basketball operations Ettore Messina, leading to him training separately from the active roster.
The 30-year-old guard played only five matches in the Legabasket this season, averaging 8.4 points. He also participated in five EuroLeague games, with an average of 7.2 points.
The Canadian point guard began his professional career with Gran Canaria, then went on to play for Zalgiris, Barcelona, and Zenit Saint Petersburg before making the transition to the NBA.
