Kyle Guy is officially released by Panathinaikos despite signing a two-year deal in the summer with the club.
Lenovo Tenerife already signed the player with a deal until the end of the season as it was officially announced.
The 26-year-old player who had his first season in Europe last year with Joventut Badalona was out of Panathinaikos‘ EuroLeague rotation after the addition of Kendrick Nunn and was also not eligible to play in the Greek League.
This turn of events made both parties consider a mutual divorce with Guy moving to Lenovo Tenerife.
In total, Guy played in eight EuroLeague games out of 17, being a starter once and averaging 4 points and 0.9 rebounds per game.
