Hurting the operated elbow shortly after returning to action, Billy Baron has been projected by EA7 Emporio Armani Milan to miss multiple weeks.

The Italian club updated his status on Thursday, noting non-contact workouts for two or three weeks. Therefore, the experienced guard remains on a crowded injury list alongside Maodo Lo (thigh), Nikola Mirotic (Achilles), and Shavon Shields (thigh).

Per the press release: “Due to the hit received to the same right elbow he had surgery on, an episode that occurred during the game played against Asvel Villeurbanne, after further medical checks, Billy Baron was prescribed a period of 2-3 weeks of individual work, with no contact involved.”

Sidelined since last May, suiting up for the team coached by Ettore Messina stretched to four games in December, including three appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague to up his career total to 121. Despite suffering a tweak in his elbow against LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, he was cleared to play in two more games before shifting back to the injury list. His efforts translated into 2.3 points, 3.0 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per contest.

At 7-11 and three games away from the Play-In zone, Le Scarpette Rosse wrapping up the latest two-game week of the continental campaign features a meeting with FC Bayern Munich in Mediolanum Forum on Friday. Besides the aforementioned injuries, Giampaolo Ricci (hamstring) spent the last three weeks on the sidelines but has been upgraded to questionable to play versus the German club.
