Panathinaikos suffered a blow in a domestic game against Peristeri as Luca Vildoza sustained a knee injury. As the club officially announced, the Argentinean guard underwent successful arthroscopy on his left knee.
“Luca Vildoza underwent successful arthroscopy on his left knee on Tuesday morning (09/01) by the team’s doctor, Athanasios Konidis,” per the official press release.
The club didn’t specify how long Vildoza would be absent, but he could be out for about a month.
The Argentinean didn’t have the best start at the Athens club, but the injury came just after his best performance in a green jersey when he scored 19 points in a win against Valencia.
Overall, he played 18 games in the EuroLeague this season, averaging 6.8 points with 1.7 assists and 1.7 rebounds.
