Partizan’s president on Caboclo’s case: “We paid 150,000 euros; everything is clear”

Reyer Venice appealed the decision that allowed Bruno Caboclo to sign for Partizan Mozzart Bet, and a few months after the Brazilian joined the Belgrade team, the Italian team won the appeal.

Now, they want an annulment of the FIBA decision to grant authorization for the transfer, but Partizan’s president, Ostoja Mijailovic, insists that everything is clear in Caboclo’s case.

KK Partizan Mozzart Bet, according to FIBA’s decision, paid compensation of 150,000 euros and received a Letter of Clearance (LOC) for the player, without which he could not have been registered. Therefore, the situation is clear, and no arbitration decision, which is not competent for this case, can influence it,” Mijailovic said to Mozzart Sport.

Despite everything, Venice seems determined to push their case further, despite the fact that Caboclo has already played 13 EuroLeague and nine ABA League games for Partizan.

The Brazilian center immediately adjusted to Zeljko Obradovic’s team and is already one of the key players of the Black and Whites, with averages of 11.9 points and 4.5 rebounds in the EuroLeague and 9.3 points and 4.4 boards in the ABA League.
