Fenerbahce Beko forward Nigel Hayes-Davis suffered a groin injury in the game against Partizan Belgrade (January 9), the club announced. According to Eurohoops sources, the player will miss around 3-4 weeks of action.
Hayes-Davis has been the leading scorer and rebounds for Fenerbahce this season with 13.4 points and 4.8 rebounds. Prior to his injury, he hadn’t missed a single EuroLeague game with the Turkish side.
Fener is currently 13-8 and tied for fourth in the EuroLeague standings following its latest win over Bayern Munich in overtime. Since Sarunas Jasikevicius took over, the team has registered seven wins and one defeat.
