Fenerbahce came back from Kaunas with two bad news. First, the heavy loss against Andrea Trinchieri’s team; secondly, Dyshawn Pierre got injured in the game against the Lithuanian side. Fenerbahce announced that a tear was detected in his right leg hamstring muscle.
According to Bugra Uzar from Eurohoops, the former Dinamo Sassari player should be out for at least 6-8 weeks of action. To fill the gap, the yellow-and-blue Turkish powerhouse decided to bring in Amine Noua with a one-month loan from Derthona.
Under Dimitris Itoudis and Sarunas Jasikevicius in the 2023-24 EuroLeague season, Dyshawn Pierre has been averaging 6.0 points and 5.2 rebounds per game, shooting 54.2% from two-point range and 94.4% at the charity stripe.
