Euroleague Fantasy: Would you take Moses Wright? It’s worth the risk

Would you take the risk with Moses Wright, the new center of Olympiacos?

The American rookie made a sensational debut with a PIR of 23, which is crucial in EuroLeague Fantasy. However, now that he is well-known and expectations are high, can he repeat his performance and bring in EuroLeague Fantasy points?

The possible, but not certain, return of Filip Petrusev may limit Wright’s role. In his debut against Alba, Wright played 24 minutes and had the chance to put up high numbers.

Fantasy managers have raised the price of the American center to 13 units, putting a burden on our budget. It might be considered overrated, but these are the facts.

We believe it’s worth taking the risk and putting him on your roster while he’s on fire, anticipating a solid role in Olympiacos’ rotation in Munich, especially if Petrusev doesn’t play. Petrusev’s time might be limited, and Sikma may be forced to play in the “five” since he is not a center.

Alternatively, we recommend the fairly consistent and almost always effective Joel Bolomboy, who is more affordable and might fit better into your roster for this EuroLeague matchday. Despite a challenging game against Valencia due to fouls, he has been very solid in the previous three matches, averaging a PIR of 17, and could come back stronger.
