Joining Real Madrid in 2022, Dzanan Musa inked a two-year contract that included an option for an additional season, lasting until the end of the 2024-25 season.

The 2+1 contract was based on an NBA clause for this summer. Therefore, potentially departing from Los Blancos can only be connected to another opportunity across the Atlantic Ocean.

Earlier Friday, Partizan Mozzart Bet denied a report about submitting an offer to the Bosnian swingman. Reacting as well, agent Misko Raznatovic clarified the contract status of his client, being set for a third campaign in the capital of Spain, barring a move to the NBA.

Musa, 24, is established as a key player for the defending champions of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. Averaging 13.6 points per game in the 2023-24 installment of Europe’s premier club continental competition has been highlighted by a 40-point outburst in the quadruple overtime win against Anadolu Efes in Round 19 of the Regular Season. All but locked in on the top of the standings at 22-3, the team coached by Chus Mateo enjoys a lead of 5.5 games from second-placed FC Barcelona.

Over 19 games in Spain’s Liga Endesa, Musa tallied 14.0 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.1 steals per contest. A 17-3 W-L tally shapes a league-high in the ACB table as well.

Coming out of Cedevita as a promising prospect, he was selected with the 29th pick of the 2018 draft by the Brooklyn Nets. NBA experience was limited to 54 appearances between two seasons.
