Crvena Zvezda announced officially the addition of former Real Madrid player Trey Thompkins who signed a one-month deal with an extension clause until the end of the season.
Per the press release:” American wing center Trey Tompkins is a new member of Red Star Meridianbet.
The former Euroleague winner signed a short-term contract on Wednesday for a month with an option to extend.
Trey Tompkins is 33 years old, he is 208 centimeters tall and plays as forward/ center. he spent last season as a player of Zenit from St. Petersburg.
Before his presence in Russia, where he was injured at the end of the season, and has since fully recovered, Tompkins played with great success for Real Madrid from 2015 to 2022. With Madrid, he won the Euroleague in Belgrade in 2018, as well as four Spanish championship titles, three King’s Cups and the Intercontinental Cup.
Tompkins studied at the University of Georgia and has been a professional since 2011. He spent two years as a player for the Los Angeles Clippers, after which he had an excellent season for the Nizhny Novgorod team.
