Considering another team following a potential conclusion to his stint with Partizan Mozzart Bet is far from the plan for Zeljko Obradovic.

Obradovic, 63, confirmed his intentions before Round 28 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season and the away game versus EA7 Emporio Armani Milan on Friday night.

“I cannot speak about it at this moment,” he replied to an inquiry from Sport Klub about his future with the Belgrade outfit, “I have said what is the essence of everything.”

“When I finished working at Panathinaikos, after 13 years, I took a year off. When I finished at Fenerbahce after seven years, I also took a year off,” he continued, “I don’t believe I will go to another club after Partizan, I will certainly not work for a year – how that will look, whether I will continue here, time ahead of us will tell.”

Productive spells with the teams based in Athens and Istanbul between 1999 and 2020 combined for six of his nine EuroLeague championships. Partizan in 1992, Joventut Badalona in 1994, and Real Madrid in 1995 marked the remaining triumphs on the way to reuniting with the final team of his playing career and the first of his coaching career in 2021.

Heading to Milan, Partizan is packing a 13-14 record, tied at the bottom end of the Play-In zone. With seven outings remaining in the double-legged round-robin schedule, Obradovic hopes to clinch a postseason berth with a strong finish to the Regular Season.
