A contract extension for Jaime Pradilla, keeping him at Valencia until the end of the 2026-27 season.
The Taronges announced the three-year contract extension on Friday.
Per the press release: “Valencia Basket has reached an agreement with the Spanish international power forward Jaime Pradilla (2.02m, Zaragoza, 03/01/2001, 23 years old) to extend his contract with our Club for three more seasons, until 30 June 2027. The Aragonese player is going through its fourth season defending the taronja jersey and recently entered the Top-20 in the history of games played with Valencia Basket with 218 clashes played so far. Within an exponential growth year after year, this season he has increased his performance in two-point shooting efficiency and especially in his contribution to rebounding, which is allowing him to put up his best numbers ever in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague. Since February, he has taken a step forward with the taronja team’s problems in the frontcourt game, also helping in the center position and has raised his numbers to 5.2 points with 61.7% shooting from two, 4.6 rebounds and 8.2 efficiency in the last nine games.”
The 23-year-old Spanish forward is a veteran of 72 appearances in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and also made his way to 20 7DAYS EuroCup games over the last four years as a member of Valencia. His previous club experience went from Tecnyconta Zaragoza in the 2018-19 edition of Spain’s Liga Endesa to LEB Oro and Chocolates Trapa Palencia in 2019-20.
Impressive development drove from the junior national teams of Spain to the senior level. Pradilla captured a gold medal in the 2022 EuroBasket.
