Zach LeDay was excused by Partizan Mozzart Bet after Round 29 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season.

LeDay, 29, was granted permission for a trip to the United States for family reasons, the team based in Belgrade announced Friday evening.

The native of Dallas scored 16 points with 6/11 field goals in Palau Blaugrana before returning to the USA. His side lost to FC Barcelona and fell to 13-16 with five outings remaining in the 34-game double-legged round-robin schedule of the Regular Season.

The team coached by Zeljko Obradovic is heading to a home game versus FMP Soccerbet in Round 23 of the AdmiralBet ABA League Regular Season on Saturday. Bouncing back in Europe’s premier club continental competition, home games opposite Baskonia and Real Madrid follow on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively. A return date for LeDay is unclear.

In his fifth EuroLeague campaign, he is averaging 10.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.1 blocks per contest over 27 appearances, including 20 starts under Obradovic. His efforts fueled a bid for postseason action with Partizan currently tied with Valencia at the bottom end of the Play-In zone.

Competing at the regional level, the former power forward of South Florida and Virginia Tech in the NCAA tallied 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 0.6 steals per game over 19 appearances in the 2023-24 edition of ABA. At 16-6, the defending champions rank third behind Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet and Buducnost VOLI.
