As officially announced, Monaco’s Terry Tarpey will undergo surgery on his left meniscus on Monday. He will then need a six-week rest before returning to play.
Tarpey played only six EuroLeague games in his first season at the top continental competition, with his last appearance in Round 29 against ALBA Berlin.
Despite his limited EuroLeague playing time, he was a significant part of Sasa Obradovic’s team in the French Betclice Elite League. He made 24 appearances and spent an average of 19.3 minutes on the floor. He recorded 4.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game.
The 30-year-old forward joined Monaco last summer after spending six years at Le Mans. He represented France at the previous 2023 FIBA World Cup and won the silver medal at the 2022 EuroBasket.
