Euroleague Basketball has announced disciplinary sanctions for Virtus Bologna and Olympiacos Piraeus head coaches Luca Banchi and Georgios Bartzokas pertaining to incidents that occurred in Round 30 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague regular season.
Banchi has been sanctioned with a fine of €1,000, for the lack of respect towards a member of the officiating crew, on occasion of its away game against Zalgiris Kaunas, under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
As for Bartzokas, he has been sanctioned with a fine of €2,000, also for the lack of respect towards a member of the officiating crew on the occasion of its away game against Anadolu Efes Istanbul under Article 27.2.b) of the Euroleague Basketball Disciplinary Code.
