Ahead of Round 32 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season and welcoming Olympiacos in Stark Arena on Thursday evening, Partizan Mozzart Bet awaits Zach LeDay.
After flying to the United States due to personal reasons and missing recent games of the Belgrade outfit, the 29-year-old big remains away from the team coached by Zeljko Obradovic.
“He was not in practice. I did not see him,” stated the legendary tactician on Wednesday, “I was informed that he would be back by Tuesday but he was not. I think he had a problem with flight schedules. But that is a job for the front office, not mine. I am in charge of preparing the team for a game.”
Beyond LeDay, all remaining players are healthy and available for the Serbian club. For the Reds, Serbian imports Filip Petrusev (right knee) and Nikola Milutinov (foot surgery) are sidelined.
“A team that is built for the greatest success, they have quality and play that has been recognizable since Giorgos Bartzokas took over the team,” Obradovic commented on the Greek powerhouse.
At 14-17 with three outings left in the Regular Season, his side is tied with three more teams at the bottom end of the Play-In zone.
“All games are important to us until the end. We have to leave our hearts on the field. We want to win, we are training for it. Every game is important and we will do our best,” mentioned Alen Smailagic.
