In the last and decisive EuroLeague Round 34, Olympiacos managed to take down Fenerbahce 84-81 in overtime, getting the 5th spot in the standings and facing Barcelona – which ended 4th after beating ASVEL – in the EuroLeague Playoffs.

Isaiah Canaan had a huge performance with 27 points, performing a significant shooting night with 3/3 from two-point range, 5/7 from deep, and 6/7 at the charity stripe. He went close to his personal career-high in scoring (31 points) that came in January against ALBA Berlin.

Commenting to Eurohoops on the red-and-white team’s opponents in this year’s postseason, the American guard released a relaxed statement. “It didn’t matter to me who we were paired with. It doesn’t matter if it’s Barcelona or Monaco, all teams are good at this level”, he first said.

Addressing the team’s moment and his latest personal performances, he also commented. “What matters is how we play. We must continue to be confident and trust in ourselves and the work we do. I was expecting to perform like this. I needed a match like this”, the former UNICS Kazan guard continued.
