The results of an MRI came back clean, confirming Filip Petrusev is available for Olympiacos in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four.
Petrusev, 24, injured his right ankle on Sunday. Following an early exit from the road game against Kolossos H Hotels in Rhodes, he underwent an MRI. He is likely to sit out Game 1 of a best-of-three series versus AEK Betsson in the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Wednesday but is expected to be cleared before the Reds make the trip to Berlin for the season-ending tournament of Europe’s premier club continental competition.
Following a home challenge opposite AEK to tip off a quarterfinal series of Greece’s Stoiximan Basket League Playoffs, the team coached by Giorgos Bartzokas faces the Queen behind closed doors in the Ano Liosia Olympic Hall on Saturday.
