Dusko Ivanovic returned to Baskonia in November 2023, but his fourth stint with the Vitoria team has now officially ended.

As the club announced, the two sides have mutually agreed to not continue their collaboration next season.

Dusko Ivanovic will not continue leading the Baskonia bench. The Zurbano entity and Bijelo Polje’s coach, after holding talks in recent days regarding the future, have jointly agreed not to continue the relationship that united them since last November,” stated the official press release.

Ivanovic’s fourth spell started amazingly, with the side notching win after win, but in the end, despite making it to the EuroLeague Playoffs, Baskonia failed to qualify for the ACB Playoffs for the first time in three decades.

The Montenegrin coach is the most decorated coach in Baskonia’s history, winning three Spanish League crowns and three Copa del Reys, and leading the club twice to the EuroLeague Final Four.
