Approaching the end of the 2023-24 campaign, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet re-upped Rokas Giedraitis.

Giedraitis, 31, penned a two-year contract extension, the team announced on Wednesday.

The Lithuanian small forward was landed by the Belgrade outfit before the 2023-24 season. Jumping into his fifth campaign in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, he tallied 10.0 points with 45% from the field, 3.8 rebounds, 0.9 steals, 0.9 assists, and 0.1 blocks per contest over 34 appearances, including 23 starts. Facing his former team in December, he recorded a season-high 24 points in a narrow loss to Baskonia. Packing an 11-23 record, his side fell six wins shy of a berth in the Play-In Showdown.

Averaging 9.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game in the AdmiralBet ABA League, Giedraitis contributed to winning the championship. His efforts extended to capturing the Radivoj Korac Cup in February. Seeking a triple-crown through the Finals of the AdmiralBet Basketball League of Serbia, the third trophy is one win away with the team coached by Giannis Sfairopoulos up 1-0 in a best-of-three series versus archrival Partizan Mozzart Bet.

A total of 156 appearances in the EuroLeague between Zvezda, Baskonia, and ALBA Berlin highlighting his club career, his experience with the senior national team of Lithuania includes the 2019 FIBA World Cup and the 2022 EuroBasket. At the junior level, he earned gold medals in the 2011 FIBA U19 World Championship and the 2012 FIBA U20 European Championship.
