Before playing in his first-ever NBA Finals, Luka Doncic was asked about the environment they’re about the face in Boston, as the Celtics will start the series in the TD Garden after sweeping the Indiana Pacers 4-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals.
“It’s a very loud crowd, everybody knows that. It’s hard to play in this place, the crowd is amazing for their team. We have to stay together, but it’s gonna be really hard to play in this crowd”, Luka Doncic commented about the crowd in Boston.
Then, when he was asked to name the most incredible environment in which he has ever played in the past, he had a clear answer. “It was the Quarter-Finals of the EuroLeague against Panathinaikos, in OAKA”, the Slovenian phenomenon said.
Recalling the start of Game 1 of their series against Real Madrid, he shared the huge beginning by Nick Calathes and teammates, “The crowd went crazy, they started 20-0. Imagine that”, he finished laughing.
