Crvena Zvezda finished the season by winning the ABA League, Serbian Championship, and Serbian Cup and is already looking forward to the upcoming season.

The club’s president, Nebojsa Covic, spoke at the press conference after the Belgrade team received the domestic championship trophy, touching on potential reinforcements and the future of current players.

He said that Crvena Zvezda made a deal to sign big man Uros Plavsic from Mega and talked about a potential new deal for Yago dos Santos, not wanting to mention any names for reinforcements.

Plavsic is finalized, and I think we’ll tweak something with Yago as well. As for new names, we are working intensively on reinforcements. It’s not the time yet to talk about them. Some championships are still being played. There’s a lot of buzz around what’s coming up,” Covic said.

He also commented on the future of former Real Madrid player Adam Hanga at the club.

Hanga is injured. He needs to remove those pins from his hand in the next few days. He has a contract for another year. We’ll see in discussions with the coach.

Milos Teodosic was a big part of Crvena Zvezda’s success, but whether he will stay for another season is still up in the air.

The decision is up to Milos, if he can endure everything, and I think he can. Milos should stay in basketball even beyond professional career. You can’t always find that quality and basketball intelligence,” Nebojsa Covic concluded.
